Flying Fish Restaurant is located at the end of Pyrmont's historic Jones Bay Wharf. If you love seafood and want to experience a dinner with a spectacular view on the harbour, this is the place! Constructed on the wharf and designed by Michael McCann, the restaurant has combined heritage with modern twists. The light installation hanging over the main dining area is breath-taking, and the ceiling high wall of wine adds a unique touch. Named 2016 Formal Seafood Restaurant of the Year, this restaurant aims to please.

Suited For

This restaurant is perfect for a fine dining experience with that extra 'wow' factor. For private parties and corporate events, you can book one of the venue's private rooms, The Wine Room or The Arcadian Room - each one with an unique atmosphere and amazing views of course. This iconic waterfront restaurant is also a beautiful destination to host a wedding and many people do. It's also a great date place and suitable for a few drinks with friends or after work drinks with colleagues. The restaurant's Little Fish Bar out the front of the restaurant is great for a more low-key affair. More info here.

Executive Chef Stephen Seckold and Head the Chef Ian Royle changes the menu every season by choosing fresh seasonal produce and selecting the best seafood. With innovative and tasty products, they want to deliver the ultimate fine dining experience! Savour your dishes with something from their award winning wine list.

There's More!

If you want an exclusive fine dining experience you can book the Chef's Table (for 8 guests). This table is just in front of the kitchen so you can see and interact with the chefs while they're cooking your food. Finally, if you want to impress your convives you can take a one hour Sashimi & Sushi MasterClass. Learn to cook with great skilled chefs and taste your creations at the end with a fine glass of wine.
