Banjo Paterson Cottage Restaurant combines history with an excellent menu and pleasant views of the Parramatta River. The old home of the poet A.B. 'Banjo' Paterson dates back to the 1830's and retains many of its original features, including a fireplace that crackles during the winter to add a cosy, authentic atmosphere. Sitting in 5 acres of parkland, the gardens complement the historic sandstone building that houses the restaurant; it also boasts its own jetty on the shores of the Parramatta River making travelling there by boat a great way to arrive and make your experience extra special.
