King Street Wharf 3
King Street Wharf 3
Pretty much anyone who's been in Sydney for more than a day or two will be familiar with Darling Harbour, which is home to dozens of attractions, restaurants, bars and cafés that are popular with both tourists and locals. The King Street Wharfs are situated on the east side of the harbour between the Barangaroo Wharfs and Aquarium Wharf. Thanks to its central location and the available amenities, King Street Wharf 3 is one of our top recommended pick up spots. When you book your boat hire through Ucruise Sydney, just be sure to ask our team about any special requirements you and your group may have.
Choosing King Street Wharf 3 for Your Cruise Pick Up
As it's right next to the CBD, King Street Wharf 3 is a good central option for parties who are spread out over different parts of Sydney. Also, although there are still certain restrictions on tonnage and vessel size, it's one of the more flexible wharfs in Sydney Harbour in terms of the wide range of boats you can hire from here.
Getting to King Street Wharf 3
Like other CBD wharfs, King Street Wharf 3 and the nearby area makes a great finishing point for a city centre walking tour, so if you're new to Sydney, we'd highly recommend you take a stroll around the streets and shops in the vicinity to really drink in the Sydney vibe. You can come to King Street Wharf 3 by car, of course, and there's plenty of secure parking nearby, although you may have to book a spot in advance to guarantee it, and you should expect to pay city centre prices as well. Public transport is also readily available, with trains, buses and ferries all arriving nearby. You can also grab a water taxi from elsewhere in the harbour if you'd prefer a more private experience.
It's the city centre, so there isn't much you won't find within about 5 minutes' walk of the wharf. One great recommendation is to meet up a bit earlier in the King Street Wharf area and enjoy a harbour-side drink with your mates before your vessel arrives.
