Kirribilli Wharf is located in central Sydney Harbour, just east of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on the western edge of Kirribilli Point. Set in one of Sydney's oldest and most picturesque neighbourhoods, Kirribilli Wharf might be a good option for your Ucruise Sydney boat hire if most of your party is based in north central Sydney. However, there are a few issues with accessibility here so if anyone in your party has special requirements, please do ask our staff for wharf recommendations when you finalise your booking.
Choosing Kirribilli Wharf for Your Cruise Pick Up
Kirribilli Wharf is located in an area that's steeped in history, being one of the first established colonial residential areas in Sydney and also home to the Prime Minister's official Sydney residence. If your group is looking for a centrally located north Sydney wharf for your pick up and drop off, Kirribilli could well be what you're after, with great access from most northern suburbs and plenty of ferry connections. That said, there are one or two things to bear in mind when selecting Kirribilli Wharf, so read on for more info!
Getting to Kirribilli Wharf
Getting to Kirribilli Wharf on public transport is quite easy from most areas of northern Sydney. The nearest bus stop (for the 269 service) is just about a minute's walk away, and five minutes further to the west, on Arthur Street, you have ten other services that connect with the 269. The wharf is also a stop for the F5 and CCLC ferries, so you can quickly skip across the Harbour from Circular Quay and arrive over water from as far afield as River View up in Lane Cove River. Coming by car is fine if you're planning a quick drop off, but for groups who want to park in the area, we'd recommend doing a bit of homework first as the nearest secure parking is back in central North Sydney. There are no bike racks available at Kirribilli Wharf.
From Kirribilli Wharf, you have about a 15 minute walk up into North Sydney where you'll find everything from ice to sunblock, swimming cossies and grub. The immediate area around the wharf, however, is fairly scant on shops and places you can pick up last minute supplies, so bear that in mind when you plan your arrival and avoid unnecessary delays to your Harbour cruise.
