Choosing King St, Darling Harbour Wharf for Your Cruise Pick Up
As it's right next to the CBD, King St, Darling Harbour Wharf is a god central option for parties who are spread out over different parts of Sydney. Also, although there are still certain restrictions on tonnage and vessel size, it's one of the more flexible wharfs in Sydney Harbour in terms of the wide range of boats you can hire from here.
Getting to King St, Darling Harbour Wharf
King Street Wharf makes a great finishing point for a city centre walking tour, so if you're new to Sydney, we'd highly recommend you take a stroll around nearby areas like Wynyard Walk or Circular Quay before you arrive. You can come to King St Wharf by car, of course, and there's plenty of secure parking nearby, although you may have to book a spot in advance to guarantee it, and you should expect to pay city centre prices as well. Public transport is also readily available, with trains, buses and ferries all arriving nearby. You can also grab a water taxi from elsewhere in the harbour if you'd prefer a more private experience.
It's the city centre, so there isn't much you won't find within about 5 minutes' walk of the wharf. One great recommendation is to meet up a bit earlier in the King Street Wharf area and enjoy a harbour-side drink with your mates before your vessel arrives. Cheers!
