Abbotsford Wharf
Abbotsford Wharf
Abbotsford Wharf is located on the south side of the Parramatta River between Chiswick and Cabarita. If you'd like to arrange for pick up and/or drop off from here for your Sydney Harbour cruise, when you book your boat hire through Ucruise Sydney just let our staff know and we'll be happy to guide you through the options.
Choosing Abbotsford Wharf for Your Cruise Pick Up
Abbotsford is a pretty little neighbourhood just up the Parramatta River, offering some lovely sights of nearby nature reserves, bays and the Gladesville Bridge. It's a popular spot for Sydneysiders looking to explore the nooks and crannies of the Parramatta, but tourists or first-time visitors might want to look for a more central location.
Getting to Abbotsford Wharf
Getting to Abbotsford Wharf is easy from most places in central or south Sydney or along the Parramatta River. By water, the F3 ferry stops here regularly throughout the day, and water taxis are always an option. Over land, you can catch the 438 bus almost right up to the wharf or the 415 and 504 which stop slightly further away. If you'd like to arrive by car, a quick pick up and drop off is the best options, but there is some parking available for longer stays. That said, we always recommend looking up availability, fees and permits before you commit to bringing the car. Abbotsford Wharf is classified as "independent access" by Transport for NSW.
Local amenities
Abbotsford has a decent little strip of shops just up along the Great North Road, about 5 minutes or so from the wharf. Here, you'll find a couple of cafés, restaurants and a convenience store and bottleshop, so you're pretty much covered for last-minute cruise supplies. There are also public toilets available right by the wharf.
