Mosman can be a good choice for pick up and drop off for groups mainly based in the surrounding neighbourhoods such as Cammeray, Mosman and Northbridge, and it can cater to vessels of most sizes. Getting to Mosman Ferry Wharf

Mosman Bay Wharf is fairly accessible on public transport, with the 230 bus stopping right outside and the F2 and F6 ferries visiting at various times throughout the day. About a five-minute walk away to the east on Raglan Street you also have the 111 bus service, and about an eight-minute walk the other way you can find stops for the 225. There are bike racks available for use at Mosman Wharf, but coming by car is probably best left for those planning a quick drop off, as parking can be quite limited. If you do want to park for the day, please do your homework beforehand as you could end up leaving your vehicle a fair distance from the wharf.

Local amenities

Although central Mosman and the amenities on Military Road aren't that far away, it's always best to plan ahead and avoid last-minute shopping trips for things like ice or sunblock. The nearest shops are a good 12-minute walk along Avenue Road, so running off to grab something might cause a bit of a delay to your Harbour Cruise. Mosman Ferry Wharf is classified as "independent access" by Transport for NSW, meaning there are facilities to cater to groups with special requirements such as wheelchair access.
