Kurraba Point Wharf

Kurraba Point Wharf is a beautiful spot pretty much bang in the middle of north Middle Harbour. The wharf is a popular pick up spot for groups based in neighbourhoods around in and around the Neutral Bay area, but be aware that it is classified as "not accessible" by Transport for NSW, so if your party has special requirements, let our team know when you book your Ucruise Sydney boat hire and we'll be happy to recommend an alternative that would be more suitable.

Choosing Kurraba Point Wharf for Your Cruise Pick Up

Kurraba Point Wharf is a small, single berth wharf on the west shore of the Kurraba Peninsula. It offers some gorgeous views of the areas across the bay and you can just see the Sydney Harbour Bridge peeking above the buildings opposite. For groups based in Cremorne or Neutral Bay, or in further-flung north Sydney suburbs, Kurraba Point is an attractive option as it's a little less busy than other wharfs in the area. Nevertheless, as it's older and smaller than most nearby wharfs, it might not be the best option logistically, so be sure to ask for advice from our team when you make your booking.

Getting to Kurraba Point Wharf

There's one public ferry service (the F5) that stops at Kurraba Point, meaning you can quickly access this wharf from the Sydney CBD. Buses, however, are less convenient, with only the 225 service stopping "nearby" (about a 12 minutes walk from the wharf entrance). If you plan to come by car, be advised that short-stay parking on the Kurraba Peninsula is very limited and you'll likely need to book ahead for secure parking. The wharf has no bike racks.

Local amenities

Kurraba is a pleasant little neighbourhood and has one or two hidden gem cafés that are great for whiling away the time as you wait for your party to gather. There are also a couple of parks nearby and one or two small shops. However, grabbing last-minute supplies for your cruise, such as ice or sunblock, isn't going to be easy. You'll have to head to central Neutral Bay to be sure of getting what you need, and that is a fair trek from the wharf. Plan accordingly!
