Thundercat offers an exhilarating ride around the Whitsunday Islands all in one day. The 2021 Australian GOLD award-winning tour visits the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet lookout and offers 2 snorkelling opportunities on the fringing Great Barrier Reef. Thundercat is one of the fastest catamarans in the Whitsundays and has been designed for stability and speed so it’s perfect for passengers who are concerned about seasickness. The all-inclusive package departs from Airlie Beach and is suitable for families, couples and groups wanting to experience once in a lifetime moments. Thundercat is proud to be accredited as a Climate Action Leading tour. This is the highest level of ECO certification offered in Australia.

Thundercat: Check-in opens at 8am at Coral Sea Marina North End. Departs: Coral Sea Marina at 9am. Returns: Coral Sea Marina at 5pm.
Open-dated tickets MUST give 7 days’ notice to book.
Note: Default pick up is at Red Cat Adventures at 8.20 am. If you miss the shuttle, you will need to make your own way to the North End of Coral Sea Marina. If you would like to be picked up by our courtesy shuttle from another accommodation, please call reservations on 07 4946 4444 the day before your tour departs.
Check-in: If you are not being picked up by our bus, please meet at the north end of Coral Sea Marina next to the roundabout at 8.30am. The vessel will depart at 9am sharp, so please don’t be late. It is advisable to bring a rain jacket during the summer months (January – April) and warmer clothes during the winter months (June-September).
Customers can purchase soft drinks and water for $3 on the boat.

What to bring: Pack a small bag (dry bag recommended) and include:
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel and a hat

BYO alcohol (no glass or red wine)
A sense of fun and adventure!
Children under four years old must be approved before departure and supply their own lifejacket.
Travel insurance is recommended, particularly during the wet season (January-April). Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to departure will result in a 100% cancellation fee. A minimum of 24 hours is required to change tour departure dates.
